To access The Ampersand Group Remote Desktop environment, you will need
to utilize our VPN (Virtual Private Network)
Accessing our systems from outside our
office, using a VPN ensures that sensitive information travels through a
secure, encrypted tunnel. This helps prevent unauthorized access and
keeps your data safe.

VPN (Virtual Private Network)
is a critical tool that helps protect your
privacy and keep your data secure online.

Using a VPN to access RDP
is far more secure than exposing
the RDP port directly to the internet.

Using a VPN in addition to
MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication)
adds a critical second layer of protection.

access. It dramatically reduces the risk of unauthorized access
and strengthens our overall network defense.

Login Credentials Important Information |

With the increased security and
the VPN network we are deploying new security protocols which
require additional authentication to protect your environment
and your data.
|
|

Once we configure your local computer with
our FortiClient VPN client you will be authenticating into our
systems differently. |
|
| |
There
will be 5 levels of security for accessing the system.
|
|
| |
Level 1 Login -
Your FortiClient VPN which is uniquely
configured for The Ampersand Group
|
| |
Level 2 Login -
You will login to the
FortiClient VPN using an Office 365 Account that we created for
you.
|
| |
Level 3 Login -
During your Office 365 Account
login process you will be required to complete the Microsoft MFA
process.
|

Level 4 Login -
The Tag-RDP- Members RDP icon is
encrypted with a unique security license that will authenticate
in the background when you connect.
|
|
Level 5 Login -
You will login to your specific
Quantum system using your existing Quantum user name and
password credentials
